Caribbean interior provisioning: wine, florals and guest amenities

Interior briefs in the Caribbean are shaped by heat and by distance. Wine arrives having crossed an ocean, florals wilt in a morning, and the amenity brands guests expect are not stocked on most islands. All of it is solvable with lead time.

Wine and Champagne in a hot climate

  • Provenance matters more here than in the Med — ask where a bottle has been stored, not just what it is.
  • We source temperature-controlled stock and move it in refrigerated transport, logged to the gangway.
  • Guadeloupe and Martinique are the value route for European wine; St Maarten has the deepest overall range.
  • Large formats and prestige cuvées in December are allocation-controlled. Confirm early or accept alternatives.

Rum, spirits and the bar

The Caribbean is the one place where the local spirit outclasses the imports. We source direct allocations — Foursquare, Mount Gay, Rhum Agricole from the French islands, Antiguan and Grenadian distilleries — alongside the standard back-bar, mixers by the case, and enough ice logistics to survive a hot afternoon of guests.

Florals that last more than a day

  • Imported cut flowers arriving into 30°C need same-day conditioning; we deliver conditioned, not boxed.
  • Tropical stems — heliconia, ginger, anthurium, orchid — hold far better than temperate flowers and read as local.
  • Weekly refresh schedules beat one large delivery on charter day.
  • Peak weeks in St Barths compete with villas and restaurants for the same stems: brief two weeks ahead.

Guest amenities and interior consumables

  • Branded amenity lines, sun care, beach and toiletries — imported, so briefed with lead time.
  • Linen-adjacent consumables, laundry products and specialist cleaning for interior teams.
  • Snacks, mixers, soft drinks, specialty coffee and tea, restocked to the interior's own par list.
  • One consolidated interior delivery per port, so the crew handles one load rather than five vans.

Frequently asked

Can you source specific Champagne houses in the Caribbean?

Yes, with notice. In peak weeks, prestige cuvées and large formats need two to four weeks and are subject to allocation.

How do you stop florals dying in the heat?

We deliver conditioned stems, favour tropicals that hold in heat, and schedule weekly refreshes rather than one big charter-day delivery.

Do you source Caribbean rums direct?

Yes — direct allocations from the major distilleries, including limited releases when they are available.

Can the interior keep a standing par list with you?

Yes. We hold your par list and restock against it port by port, so the brief each time is only the exceptions.
